CourseGraphic Whether it is a family heirloom or just a yard sale find, an old clock running peacefully on your wall can bring back fond memories.  This class will cover what you need to know about getting your old clock running and keeping it running.  Learn what you have, when and where it was made, how it should work, its market value and more.  You won't become expert clocksmiths in a month, but you will be much better informed clock owners.  Class will cover the history of timekeeping, types of clocks, resources available, safety, basic operation, maintenance and repair, tools, lubricants and much more.  You are encouraged to bring a clock to one of the class sessions for evaluation and basic lubrication.  If there is interest, we will schedule a visit to a local clock shop.
