« back to classes page
Coronavirus has infected millions of people in the United States and elsewhere throughout the world. Even with our clearer understanding of how the infection develops, the use of new therapeutic approaches, more accurate methods to detect infections, and advancements in the development of vaccines, there is still a lot of confusion and fear surrounding the coronavirus infection. The purpose of this presentation is to review and discuss our current understanding of COVID-19 based upon the latest peer-reviewed scientific information that is available. This discussion will be free of political perspectives; it will include only factual information contained in scientific publications. Understanding what is actually happening should help minimize some of the fear and uncertainty associated with COVID-19.
