Climate change is a normal process that the Earth goes through. Concern arises when the effects of human culture and its activities significantly influence the normal processes of climate change. This presentation will provide an overview of the climate change processes that have been occurring for millions of years. As the industrial revolution has evolved, humans have increased their affect upon the rate and magnitude of climate change. Humans may have actually begun influencing the climate when they first used fire. What is often forgotten is that a lot of the time will be required before measurable changes will be observed from the impact of reduced human activities. To be effective, an international effort to modify human behavior will be necessary. It is both timely and important to address the climate change issue with factual information without politics being involved.
